After work, went to catch 'The Last Exorcism' @ Cathay Cine for the 1.15am show.. Beforehand, I had only glimpses of the trailer during the commercials on the telly.. But I never actually reviewed on it fully.. Was an impulse upon choice..
And Im not saying Im actually having regrets, I just was fulfilled enough... You see, the plotline was so-so and I didnt even know it was a hand-ons cam type of movie.. aka 'The Blair Witch Project' way.. but Im not against these kind of movies, so no harm on that..
One thing intriguing and exciting overall for these movie is that, it was definitely an after-movie topic share.. Since you actually have to discuss on the scenes before you reach to a final conclusion.. To me, definitely demonic.. ( I realized this during my "main2 angin" on the ride back home..)
Ending was very much those typical TBWP way.. leaves you going "huh?" "EHhh!" "Laa..dabes?" "Crap sia gtu jek!" "Ishh..." "Alamaks,beh ape jd tu?" and so on and so forth laa...
But to non believers of the supernatural, youll prolly just assume it all to psychology.. fraid not, I do too.. but if you ( spoilers EH!) play back onto the subject where Nell had arts pinned-up onto her wall of how the characters will eventually die, you'd be re-calculating on how it all made sense... Although it could probably be some screwed up shit the brother manage to invent before going through the trouble of killing them all.. Then maybe its a psycho family shit.. and would be extra numb-nuts if it all were incest! Now THAT is pretty disturbing.. But still, Im up for the demonic theory. Hello.. demon movie here...
Buuuuutttt... most awesome movie was Paranormal Activity TWO! (I know its written in numerals, but I just wanted to emphasize on it laa kan! )
This movie here was the movie I was anticipating and it didn't disappoint me one bit.. Oh! Only the part when we found out some of the scenes were fuckin deleted! WTF! I mean, don't feature it in the SG trailers if you're not gonna show it.. (Oh, and btw, TLE also had deleted scenes!)
So for PA2, I watched it with my cuzzy Nana, (whom I also did for PA1) and during the movie, both of us were continually nudging each others legs every time it came upon a suspenseful part.. FYI, even the start of every night scenes (eg. Night #18) welcome nudgements!
And those godawful 'terkejut2' part, aiyoyoyoo I tell you! At one point, after a frightful scene, I never even realize my palm was still fully covering my mouth, even though the scene had moved on.. Thats how much captivating that movie were! And dont tell me you dont like it, cause I dont bloody well care, cause hell-yeah I loved it!!! It was a great HELL-oween weekend to start with! Right after the movie, upon reaching my place, we scoured through my DVDs to find PA1.. We did, but eventually we switched onto the telly cause it was showing the Halloween Marathon thingy.. And yes, I did watched till 6am.. and hell yes, I did send those every hour SMS in high hopes of winning the 100 dollars cash! ;)
and 31st OCT!! Halloween with my kakis was gereks!!
We went to the SG Flyer for the haunted trail and it was sekaaryyy...

Marnie is sleeping on the couch since 3+AM just now and Im still awake right now.. She so have no idea.. Our initial plan for her rebonding tonight and gym tmr morning is well off down the dirty drain.. no surprise though.. LOL!
